Sean + Cat Married

So a few weekends ago I had the opportunity to shoot Sean and Cat Makin at Calimigos Ranch! It was a great day. If your a consistent blog reader you would know that Sean is a musician and was in the band Yellow Card so I knew we were going to have a great day of fun with all of Sean and Cat’s friends and family.

We started the day off right at the hotel with some apple crisp muffins and Starbucks! No better way to start a long wedding day in my book!

Super Sweet shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo..

The Fam checking out the sweet engagement album from KISS!

Cat has been a dancer all her life and decided to wear her ballet slippers as her wedding shoes which I thought was a sweet touch.

I love this shot..

I honestly could keep posting this wedding forever but I got to get to all my other weddings!! We’re right in the middle of wedding season and got to keep crankin’. Sean and Cat I had such a great time shooting your wedding and wish you two all the best with your new life up north. Thanks to Courtney the Craziest Coordinator I know for the referral!!

Damian and Ashley at La Estancia

Last week I had an awesome time shooting Damian and Ashley at La Estancia down in La Jolla. We started off this beautiful day down at Ashley’s parent beach house. A perfect place for getting ready shots! Ok so last couple entries I have been blabbing my mouth off so I decided to let the photos do the talking.. haha at least until I get caught up with posting that is :)   Enjoy!!

They look great Mr. Huddelson.. :)

The Crew..I love the sail boats..

Awesome dress!

The off to the ceremony at St. Brigids.

Off to Estancia!

This was such an awesome place to shoot. Tons of colors and textures.. Plenty for me to play with for hours!! Too bad this wasn’t the case :)

I had such a fun time shooting this wedding. Lynn with Pure Planning did an amazing job keeping the days events on time and stress free! I wish you guys a wonderful life with your new marriage.

Bob + Kristine at the Japanese Garden

Last week I had the honor to shoot Bob and Kristine’s wedding at the Huntington Beach Hyatt. I knew it was going to be quite a busy day filled of events with everything from an early morning tea ceremony to the the Japanese Garden in Long Beach to a flashy and exciting Chinese grand entrance.

I was so happy and excited to be apart of it all. Uyen with Sassy Girl Events did an awesome job facilitating the days events. It got a little chaotic. Since Kristine’s last name is Kay, it was the running joke of the day that Kristine always referred to the chaos as the “Kay-os”. :) haha super funny!! Like I said Uyen did an amazing job keeping the day running smoothly!

Kristine had 3 different dresses for the day.. a traditional Chinese dress, a traditional western style dress, and also an elegant formal sequin Chinese gown. All were totally sweet!

Flower Allie did an Amazing job on the flowers as usual!

Mark + Tara Married!

A few weeks ago (still trying to stay on top of the blogging) I had the privilege of shooting Mark and Tara. These two are truly a pleasure to work for.. they are so fun and super photogenic which makes for just about a perfect day! We started off the day at Tara’s g-ma’s house in East lake village then off to the Hills in Anaheim. Seriously one of my favorite places to shoot ever! Amazing service and awesome photo opp’s.

Tarek + Christina Married

We are going to keep things short and sweet now that we are gearing up for wedding season :)  A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to shoot Tarek and Christina’s wedding down on Coronado Island in San Diego. It was a beautiful day that made for some amazing photo opps.  I think we got some killer photos from the day starting with this first one. I just love all the chaos of getting ready for the big day!

Sandra Bugbee with Sash Make up Artistry did an amazing job on make up again as always!

Love the bright colors

Awesomeness!

Josh and Krista’s Wedding

Last week I had the opportunity to shoot two of my very good friends Josh and Krista! Josh is the one apart of the break dance ministry called Break Free so we knew it was going to be a night of dancing and showing off some moves… The back drop took place in a quiet and humble little area in whittier.  I thought that everything came out awesome!

Loved Krista’s flowers..

The get away car..

I love this shot..

Krista found this awesome barn earlier in the week and knew it would be the perfect spot to take some killer photos.

After the portrait session they had a sweet taco bar.

Definitely one of Josh’s favorite things to do.. He didnt even have a smile this big during picture time :) Hahaha I love it.

A little shout out to Austin Perez representing Transparent Black Productions. Such an awesome guy!

One of the highlights of the night was that Josh’s dad promised Josh at some point in his youth that he would break dance at his wedding. He was probably trying just to avoid immediate agony by saying this, not actually believing that Josh had very well remembered this comment and told the dj that the party was not going to continue until he hit the stage with his son. A real crowd pleaser.
