Today I have the pleasure of posting some awesome images from Kevin and Jennifer’s wedding! It was such a beautiful day and their private residence was such a stunning backdrop for the days festivities. We took Kevin and Jennifer’s engagement photos at Kevin’s grandfathers house and it was such an AMAZING location that we just couldn’t resist going back there for more! Jennifer incorporated a lot of fun and unique details in her day which you will see.. however my ultimate favorite was the home made pomegranate jam which we got to take home some for favors…uummmm so good!! Kevin and Jenn had a fun jam making party with all their family and friends using the pomegranates from Kevin’s grandfathers house. The same ones they took their engagement photos under. They thought that it would not only be a great favor for their guests to take home and enjoy but also symbolic since Jenn’s new name is Jennifer Anne Merrett = JAM. Kevin and Jenn are super awesome people and we had such a blast being able to document their special day! Also thanks to Summer from Grey Likes Weddings for featuring this wedding today!

such a beautiful ceremony location overlooking the valley..

I love all the assortment of colored vases, paper poms, and table decor.

Another great table set up by none other than Melody with The Sweet and Saucy Shop.

I LOVE the yellow tub!! Couldn’t match more perfectly with their colors too!!

all my favorite shots of the day where in this glass house!! So awesome!!

And the getaway car.. a 1930’s Lincoln.. WOW!! It was super awesome!!

Thank you Kevin and Jenn! Kristin and I had such a wonderful time working with you guys on your day and wish you all the happiness in the world!!
Hey Guys! Sorry I have been laggin on the bloggin! Its been super crazy! Anyways I thought I would leave you over the weekend with a little sneak peek! Have a great Weekend!!!

Happy Monday!!! Here is another beautiful wedding that Kristin and I shot here in our home town of Yorba Linda. Meet Jared and Katelyn, you might remember seeing their engagement photos featured on Grey Likes Weddings. These two are so sweet, loving and totally down to earth. They met nearly 8 years ago and have been High School sweethearts ever since. They decided to have their wedding at the house Katelyn has grown up in her whole life. This is also the place where Jared and Katelyn first met. Jared was asked to participate in a charity league fashion show that Katelyn belong to. The practices being at her house sparked a great opportunity for their relationship to take off.
I cant even imagine the countless hours Jared must have spent over at Katelyn’s house during those dating years. The more you get to know these two you couldn’t picture a more perfect backdrop for their wedding day.. Not to mention that this house is beyond gorgeous! Pool, tennis court, even its own private vineyard.. just stunning! These two have such a classy timelessness about them and think the photos reflected just that. Here are some shots from the day!

I love the backyard vineyard feel of this wedding.

I love this quote from Katelyn: “Jared and I agree that the most memorable moment of our wedding day was the moment I walked down the aisle and our eyes met. We both knew this was the best decision we ever made!”

a couple more portraits in the vineyard.. some of my fav’s

Katelyn: “Jared and I are excited to be living together and to be waking up and going to bed every day together. We look forward to creating many more memories and growing in our love for God together.”
It was such a pleasure getting the opportunity to serve just a genuinely beautiful couple inside and out. We will pray for your marriage and look forward to seeing what God has in store for you guys!

Hey Guys! Just wanted to let everyone know we will be out of town this weekend shooting a wedding in Texas. It is going to be an A M A Z I N G wedding so stay tuned for some more pics as well as from the rest of the trip when we come home! Met this guy today.. not going to lie.. a LOT bigger in person!!!

Well where do I start. What a B E A UTIFUL wedding. I knew ever since our engagement shoot that these two were going to make the most beautiful bride and groom ever! Kristin and I were so thankful to be apart of their special day and be able to document such a wonderful display of style, design and creativity. Stephanie designed the entire wedding by herself and had some amazing vendors to help pull off her vision. Stephanie is a HUGE fan of Green Wedding Shoes and is where she got inspiration for a lot of her wedding. Just want to give a special thanks to Jen from Green Wedding Shoes for featuring this wedding on your blog today. If you haven’t heard of GWS or checked out her website you have been living in the stone ages and need to go do it NOW!!
It is an awesome place for brides to collaborate and share ideas while getting inspired to create something unique and special for their own weddings. Anyways I shot so many details and photos that it might take a while for this post to load.. But trust me its definitely worth the wait!
Brian and Stephanie had their wedding at the amazing venue called The Villa built in 1920 in San Juan Capistrano. Michelle the coordinator there did a fantastic job running the events of the day to create a calm and sweet environment for the Bride and Groom to enjoy. Check out the stunning grounds of this place.

Brian and Stephanie first met at a dueling piano bar in Hollywood so I thought this was fitting

Floral Occasions did such a fantastic job on all the flowers… The following few quotes are from Stephanie herself. “The flowers were one of my favorite things about the day. I don’t know the first thing about flowers so rather than tell Stacey what kind I wanted, I told her the feel I was going for. She totally got it. The flowers helped tie everything in to make this romantic, serene, vintage-feeling day. It was better than I could have imagined. We felt like we had our own secret garden.

“Our favorite detail of the wedding was probably the centerpieces. Every table was a different assortment of vases, vintage tins and trinkets that we found over the course of our engagement at various garage sales and flea markets. Each centerpiece was like a little museum. I think people could really see “us” in each one.” The Keys were used as place cards.

“We both agree that our favorite memory was when I walked down the aisle with my mom. All our guests, with the exception of some immediate family, stood around for the ceremony. It was like a big hug from our closest friends and family. It felt so personal. There was so much love around us.”

Check out this unique guest sign in concept.. Each person got to choose a color ink pad to put there finger prints on the tree as leaves then sign their name.. I think this was such a cool idea.

Check out the mini pies from from Urth Caffe with ice cream for their desserts.. ummm.. so good!

Also another amazing cake by Melody from The Sweet and Saucy Shop! and you all know how much we love them!!

battle on…

Again a special thanks to ALL our service men and women for protecting us and allowing us to enjoy our freedom! We love you guys. This memorial weekend is for you!
