Bob + Rosie

I had the opportunity to go down and shoot Bob and Rosie down in Balboa Park in San Diego. These two loves birds met in Law School.. Rosie is Cuban/Catholic and Bob is Persian/Muslim.. quite the combo! These two were so fun loving with each other and with us too.. As soon as they got there they had a HUGE pizza and sodas waiting for me and Kristin! Again no better way to start off an engagement shoot in my book! So after chowing down on the pizza, which was said to be the best in all of San Diego (Can someone help me remember what it is..?) we hit the streets..

We stumbled into these magnificently jumbo sized trees.. I thought would be a cool place to shoot..

Sweet vertical pano of the museum..

How cool is this door..

How cool are these trees…

Like I said these two were just so fun and lovie with eachother and it really came out in thier photos..

my favorite shot of the day.. I love the look and the light coming from the horizon!

Awesome shoot guys! Cant wait till your wedding at Pala Mesa in Sept!

Chris + An Engaged

Last week I shot Chris and An, a fun, young couple from San Diego that totally loves the art of photography. Ever since we first met during our meeting I knew I was going to be excited to work for these two. I love couples that are all into the photos.. It makes it so much more fun for me! And allows me to be me and to capture the love of these two through my eye! They wanted a modern, hip place to shoot to match their fun hip personalities so I had just the place in mind.. An also said she wanted fun and bright colors.. I think we found some great places..

These two were totally pro!

Love this shot..

Josh + Leah Engaged

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to shoot Josh and Leah’s engagement session out in Palm Springs!

I was so excited to do this shoot for these love birds for several reasons. Ever since I first met with Josh and Leah they had big plans for photography and were very excited and eager to start shooting! Everything from a destination engagement shoot.. to a funky urban wedding in LA to a destination wedding in Hawaii to a trash the tress session the day after.. I knew these were people I was going to LOVE working for! I love LOVE working for people who appreciate and respect photography. It makes everything so much more rewarding on our end!

Leah is also an awesome wedding coordinator with Sweet Pear Events. So she knew exactly what she wanted.. Another quality I greatly appreciate in a client :) So we headed out to Palm Springs for the first of our many shoots and got crankin’.  We first shot at the Viceroy the place where Josh proposed to Leah. Not only was it sentimental, but it had awesome decor and excellent photo opps..

Check out this awesome wall paper..

Love the theme..

A little city/urban..

Then off to the desert..

One of my Fav’s for sure!

I love the bright yellow chair in the middle of nowhere! So awesome!

We had such an awesome time. Thanks Josh and Leah for putting up with me putting you in thorn ridden bushes and handling the crazy 70 mph winds like champs!! Always an adventure indeed!

I think the photos came out awesome and well worth the trek out there.. Looking forward to seeing you both in October!

Mark + Tracy

A couple weeks ago I shot Mark and Tracy’s engagement shoot down in Newport, CA. Mark was born in Canada and played professional hockey over in Russia last year and is excpecting to get drafted to the NHL hopefully June 1st! So needless to say I was super excited to hoot for these two! They were toally fun and easy going which I think really came out in their photos. I love this first couple shots with the old wood and sun flare.. awesome combo!

Actually the first time shooting under this pier.. totally rad!

Sweet life guard COMMAND tower!

Then after the beach headed out for some back country.. My personal favorite!

Super Sweet Sunflare!
Awesome! I am super pumped looking forward to their wedding in July!

Sean and Cat Engaged

Ok I have been really excited to shoot this amazingly awesome and stylish couple for quite sometime now! Sean is a music artist and a member of the band Yellowcard.  He’s the one that shreads on the violin! Awesome!  I didnt tell him this when we were shooting but he was the reason I bought an electric violin like 4 years ago… Haha havent picked up the thing once since I bought it :) Probably why I didnt tell him..

Anyways I was so excited to shoot because Cat had already scouted out a place to shoot near her old house in Oak Park, CA. It was a place her mom, also a photographer, liked to take her clients too. Once I got there I was in Heaven! I knew we were going to get great some killer shoots!

One of my favorite shots of the day!

Another fav!

Then after the shoot Sean and Cat had an engagement party back at my friend Courtney’s house with all their friends and family. Sean lives in Seattle now so we had to coordinate everything for one action packed day since I had an event the day before. You can see they have a beautiful house with an even more beautiful view! a perfect place to have a little sunday Hawaiian themed BBQ!

social butterflies..

Hahaha love it! Sassy ping pong..

mixed with intense ping pong..

equates to quite an appetite. Awesome job to Steve for cooking up quite a delicious meal. I think it ranked right up there with Salmon, Asparagus and Corn on the cob! So Good!

And the  ugliest yet surprisingly cutest little thing I have ever seen.. hamming it up for the camera

Then after the party we hit up sess # 2 right in their backyard. Awesome light and color!

Sean and Cat I had a great time with you guys and look forward to your wedding coming up in June!!! I cant wait!

Scott and Kristen

Today I had the opportunity to shoot one of my finance friends from back in college. As you can tell I didnt go that route but I was happy being able to meet this happy couple through that! Its always an honor and a privilege working for friends! Since these two met when Kristen was going to Fullerton I guess it was fitting to shoot down there… There are tons of cool buildings and textures. When I saw what they were wearing I knew just the place to compliment their outfits!

Bright colors + Simple background = AWESOMENESS!

I love this shot..

Then off to one of my favorite places to shoot…EVER!

These two were so natural and really easy to work with.

Fire burnt trees..

Seriously a great shoot and was so stoked to come back and look through all of them. I think the places fit best
