Brian and Stephanie {Wedding}

Well where do I start. What a B E A UTIFUL wedding. I knew ever since our engagement shoot that these two were going to make the most beautiful bride and groom ever! Kristin and I were so thankful to be apart of their special day and be able to document such a wonderful display of style, design and creativity. Stephanie designed the entire wedding by herself and had some amazing vendors to help pull off her vision. Stephanie is a HUGE fan of Green Wedding Shoes and is where she got  inspiration for a lot of her wedding.  Just want to give a special thanks to Jen from Green Wedding Shoes for featuring this wedding on your blog today. If you haven’t heard of GWS or checked out her website you have been living in the stone ages and need to go do it NOW!! :) It is an awesome place for brides to collaborate and share ideas while getting inspired to create something unique and special for their own weddings.  Anyways  I shot so many details and photos that it might take a while for this post to load.. But trust me its definitely worth the wait!

Brian and Stephanie had their wedding at the amazing venue called The Villa built in 1920 in San Juan Capistrano. Michelle the coordinator there did a fantastic job running the events of the day to create a calm and sweet environment for the Bride and Groom to enjoy. Check out the stunning grounds of this place.

Brian and Stephanie first met at a dueling piano bar in Hollywood so I thought this was fitting :)

Floral Occasions did such a fantastic job on all the flowers… The following  few quotes are from Stephanie herself.  “The flowers were one of my favorite things about the day. I don’t know the first thing about flowers so rather than tell Stacey what kind I wanted, I told her the feel I was going for. She totally got it. The flowers helped tie everything in to make this romantic, serene, vintage-feeling day. It was better than I could have imagined. We felt like we had our own secret garden.

“Our favorite detail of the wedding was probably the centerpieces. Every table was a different assortment of vases, vintage tins and trinkets that we found over the course of our engagement at various garage sales and flea markets. Each centerpiece was like a little museum. I think people could really see “us” in each one.” The Keys were used as place cards.

“We both agree that our favorite memory was when I walked down the aisle with my mom. All our guests, with the exception of some immediate family, stood around for the ceremony. It was like a big hug from our closest friends and family. It felt so personal. There was so much love around us.”

Check out this unique guest sign in concept..  Each person got to choose a color ink pad to put there finger prints on the tree as leaves then sign their name.. I think this was such a cool idea.

Fonz and Melissa {Engaged}

Hey Guys!! Meet Fonz and Melissa! I had the pleasure of shooting these two near their home up in Pasadena at the Huntington Library. This was my first time to the library and I was super impressed. Its not what you typically think of a library.. in fact I don’t even know if there is a library there :) There is but this place is so big that we didn’t even see it! This place is beyond massive.. There are so many different places to shoot with a wide variety of scenery to choose from as you will see in these photos..  Fonz and Melissa have memberships to the library and visit there quite often. Walking, picnicking or enjoying the various concerts the library puts on in their botanical gardens, these two thought it would be the perfect place to take their engagement photos. Here are just a few of the shots from the day..

TJ and Megan {Engaged}

Last week I got to shoot Tj and Megan down in Newport Beach. We had so much fun walking in the back alleys and finding little nooks and cranny’s for places to shoot. The coolest part which I didn’t find out until almost at the end of the shoot was that we were taking pictures where TJ actually proposed to Megan. The funny part is that both TJ and Megan didn’t even realize it! There must have been a lot on their minds that day :) I think that it makes the photos that much cooler to know that this area played a special part of their engagement. Here are just a few of the fav’s from the day!

The Lozano’s {Family}

I am so excited to post some pictures of this beautiful family! Seriously one of the cutest little families ever! Meet Dustin, Lauren and Addilyn. You will have to agree that this  is one of the most beautiful little babies in the whole world! They currently live on an avocado farm where we were able to take advantage of the cool surroundings. We also got to load up on some of these fresh avocados and made home made guacamole the next day!! So GOOD!! Thanks guys! Here are just a few shots of this portrait session. Enjoy!001002003004006005007011008010012013

Stephen and Robyn {Engaged}

Last week I had the privilege of shooting these two lovely individuals. Stephen and Robyn are one of the few clients we have this year who booked with us without meeting in person first. This typically makes me a little anxious for the shoot only because I like to know more about who we are working for, their style, their personalities. I got a good read based off of emails and playing phone tag but its still never the same as with meeting face to face. However all these little feelings of anxiety quickly faded away as soon as they stepped out of the car.  Sweet, calm and eager to take photos they quickly made me really excited to start shooting! And once I started shooting…WOW! I just couldn’t stop! These two are just so photogenic! Robyn wanted a really light, earthy and romantic vibe to her photos and I think we delivered just that! Enjoy!
