Kist Wyley

Ok today I had the extreme pleasure and joy of shooting  my sweetie and amazing second shooter Kristin Wyley. We have been so busy shooting other people that we decided it was time to have a fun little portrait sess for ourselves. So this is long overdue but it was good timing since Kist graduated from Cal State Fullerton this past weekend with her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. So I hope you enjoy.. this was her first time behind the camera except for when I make her stand there to check exposure and lighting ;) I think she did an awesome job hamming it up!!

Def my fav :)

I love the colors..

Anthropologie what..?

no these are def my fav ;)

I love this shot..

How sweet is this Giant tree.. SOOO COOL!!

I love this look on the right. She will probably kill me for posting it but it was too good to not!

Killer light in the field

and by far my favorite shot of the day! For real this time! This is totally Kist!

Awesome shoot! Kristin I am super proud of all your hard work over the last couple years and all you have contributed and how it has finally paid off!

Mark + Tracy

A couple weeks ago I shot Mark and Tracy’s engagement shoot down in Newport, CA. Mark was born in Canada and played professional hockey over in Russia last year and is excpecting to get drafted to the NHL hopefully June 1st! So needless to say I was super excited to hoot for these two! They were toally fun and easy going which I think really came out in their photos. I love this first couple shots with the old wood and sun flare.. awesome combo!

Actually the first time shooting under this pier.. totally rad!

Sweet life guard COMMAND tower!

Then after the beach headed out for some back country.. My personal favorite!

Super Sweet Sunflare!
Awesome! I am super pumped looking forward to their wedding in July!

Gone to Honduras!!

I will be out of town from 5/16- 5/24 as I will be in Honduras with Living Water Int. drilling and repairing current water wells that have been recently contaminated. This is a mega mission.. trying to repair 18 or so wells in 5 days!

We are going to Brus Laguna which a very very remote part of Honduras.. The only way to get there is with a 12 passenger plane that only flies in and out of there once a week! There will be no cars or trucks to drive out equipment around.. Just good old fashion man power!!! and maybe a couple of donkeys :)

I can not wait to document how the people are living and getting by with what they have.. there’s nothing better than just living off the land and thats what we will be doing for the next week as well as Im sure picking up a couple futbol games with the local ninos :)

Since it is so remote and wont have electricity for more than an hour a day. I think its pretty safe to say that I wont be able to answer any emails or calls during this time.. If you have to get a hold of me for any reason please email me which is less likely to fill up as opposed to my voice mail.

Or if you want to see photos from the last trip CHECK THEM OUT HERE!!!

Thank you and see you all when I get back!

Mark + Tara Married!

A few weeks ago (still trying to stay on top of the blogging) I had the privilege of shooting Mark and Tara. These two are truly a pleasure to work for.. they are so fun and super photogenic which makes for just about a perfect day! We started off the day at Tara’s g-ma’s house in East lake village then off to the Hills in Anaheim. Seriously one of my favorite places to shoot ever! Amazing service and awesome photo opp’s.

Shot through the chandelier..

probably one of the radest  bouquets ever!

Marky Mark!

Awesome ceremony at St. Martins church then off for some killer portraits!

We had a great day with perfect light..

Dont ask how I got the shot on the left.. tree is way more thorny than it looks.. :)

The room looked awesome and especially the cake! Super fun and different!

Guest Star Jamie-Lee Pressly signing the engagement album.  Cheesy I know but I had to put it in..

and the first dance..

Seriously we got some killer stuff  and I could keep posting pictures all day. Thanks again for letting us capture your special day.

Tarek + Christina Married

We are going to keep things short and sweet now that we are gearing up for wedding season :)  A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to shoot Tarek and Christina’s wedding down on Coronado Island in San Diego. It was a beautiful day that made for some amazing photo opps.  I think we got some killer photos from the day starting with this first one. I just love all the chaos of getting ready for the big day!

Sandra Bugbee with Sash Make up Artistry did an amazing job on make up again as always!

Love the bright colors

Awesomeness!
