CHECK THIS OUT!!

I owe a huge shout out and a ton of gratitude to Steve from Weddings by SML for throwing this thing together for me.

He did an amazing job and I am super pleased with the results.  We have had the privilege of working together for a couple of weddings now and I have already seen the ideas spark between the two of us. We both appreciate the same artistic approach when it comes to documenting someone’s wedding day. But more than that  we share a lot of the same professional principles by constantly creating new and exciting ways to incorporate the art of our hearts with each and every client, constantly searching and trying new things, never being fully satisfied till its finished!

I truly appreciate when I meet other professionals that share these same views and Steve is certainly no exception. Thanks man for all your help this far.. Check back in the near future as we are currently working on my bio video.. Its going to be awesome!

Thanks Steve! I am looking forward to many more!

David and Melissa’s Wedding

So this past weekend I had the total pleasure of working with the absolute DREAM TEAM. We had Jennifer from OC’s Finest Weddings and Events.Who was absolutely amazing to work with. I had never seen or worked with a coordinator more prepared for any situation that could arise on a wedding day.. She actually almost had as much equipment as me.. well ok not quite but a considerable amount! The entire day went so perfectly smooth it was such a pleasure to work with her and Brianna.  Also I was so excited to work with Steve from Weddings by SML.

He does such an awesome job and was totally excited because he is going to make me an awesome promo video from some of the footage from this wedding.. Coming Soon!! Also last but not least is Flower Allie in Fullerton.

We also had Carina with Flawless Faces. As you can see here that her work really does live up to her company name.

I love when they pray over the couple before they make their way down the isle.. Powerful and makes for awesome shots!

Considering the 20-30 mile per hour winds that day, we actually got some amazing shots… Actually I owe a huge shout out to Melissa’s hair stylist Tara Gouveia. Without her Im not sure what the pictures would have looked like.. SOOO windy.. Also Im shooting her wedding in April and she referred me to Melissa! Thanks again!

David and Melissa had so much fun during the engagement shoot and were up for just about anything. I always love when I get that freedom. It allows me to be creative and find cool shots!

I think my favorite shot of the day for sure!

I loves the colors of the tile.

I found a cool bike shop and asked one of the workers if we could borrow one of their bikes.. Since the wedding was at the Hyatt Huntington Beach I figured it worked well with the day!

We got some sweet shots from it.

Also we had Joe Paxton from Atmosphere Event. He did a phenomenal job with the lighting and keeping the music going all night long.. It makes for a nice back drop for all the pictures.

Amazing Cake

Classic!

This was the first time i had ever worked with Joe Paxton with Atmosphere Entertainment. The lighting and sound was Phenomenal. I think uplighting makes the world of difference for pictures! As you can see!

This wedding was so fun and I think we got some amazing shots.. Seriously the entire day went by so smoothly, Melissa and David are so care free and easy going it was just such a blessing to work for them on this very special day. I look forward to working with all these vendors again because I will be recommending all of them to everyone :)

Tim + Eileen Engagement Shoot

I had the recent privilege of taking Tim and Eileen to one of my favorite place to shoot.. I love the feel of California’s Missions. The cool old brick, the spanish architecture, but mainly the diversity of textures and colors. They all help make the pictures come to life.

These two were just so comfortable with each other. I remember they were a tad late for our shoot and we were running out of time before the mission closed. Usually it takes a little bit before people are comfortable having a huge camera right in front of their faces. But not these two.. they were totally pro!

Fav shot of the day!

Thought this little guy was cool..

I just LOVE the light in these next few shots.. SOO COOL!

I had a great time and I think we got some killer shots.. I cant wait for your wedding at the Hilton Waterfront in Huntington Beach. See you soon!

Joe and Katie DiCaprio

Here is a wedding that I have been long over due to post. It was a dream team day of vendors as well as a beautiful landscape to work with at the picturesque Pala Mesa Resort and Spa in Fallbrook. A beautiful place to get married for all you who are still looking. Kendra (the coordinator at the resort) was awesome. Totally accommodating to allow me to have as much time as I needed for photos.. need I say more :) Also I was introduced to Steve with Weddings by SML. He was so amazing to work with, totally fun and artistic also a videographer who sets up his own shots….almost unheard of! (which were super sweet by the way!) Make sure you watch the video at the end that combines his footage and my shots.. super cool!

I had to work for this shot.. you will see in the movie I had to climb up into the window.. I always seem to make everybody nervous when I do things like that.. I dont know why ;) It helps me get cool shots like this.

I also got to work with Jen and Jen from Twisted Twig Fine Florals  they always do an amazing job!

I think by far my favorite shot of the day! We found this cool sewer/bridge .. lets just leave it as a bridge :) It was really dramatic yet surprisingly glamorous at the same time.

There Steve goes and messing up my cool shot.. haha just kidding.. I actually think it totally adds to the effect of the shot.. way more realistic shot of what is actually going on. Documentary approach!

Check out the VIDEO!!

SOO COOL! There will be many more this year!

Melissa + David

I thought that since I am shooting their wedding this Saturday at the Hyatt Huntington Beach that it might be a good idea to post some pictures of their engagement!

We had such an amazing photog sess in down town Pomona. This is where these two loves birds met going to Cal Poly Pomona so I was excited to shoot somewhere which was meaningful to these guys. Originally David wanted to shoot at his old frat house… that was until we showed up. He told some of his friends who were still living there to clean up the place so that we would be able to shoot.. Well he did… and we didnt shoot there. Guess perspective changes a little after you graduate college.  Was a cool house though.. I still could have made it work;)

So we just headed down the street and stopped just about every 3 seconds.. there were so many places to shoot.

I just love the contrast here! SO cool!

I mean come on.. How cool is this door!!

and this one..?

This one was definitely my favorite shot of the day..

Such cool light in these shots..

We had a great time and I am looking forward to seeing you two in a couple days!! Its going to be fun!

Damian + Ashley Engaged

Well unfortunately this was a little while ago and I never got around to posting them so I figured what better time then now to catch up!!

Ashley and Damian where such a fun couple to shoot even though Damian was terrified of seeing somebody he knew during our shoot. It took a little while to get warmed up but once we did I think we got some killer shots.

Ohh and yes…Damian’s fear was lived within the first 5 min of our shoot.. haha no joke.. He recovered well though and didnt let it affect him.. to badly :)

There were so many cool places to shoot in these two loves brids home town of Manhattan Beach. I was exceptionally happy to find this amazingly brilliant GREEN door.. so cool

I think some of the best shots from the day were on the beach.. I love this one.

and these..

We had such a great time together and I really look forward to their wedding at the Estancia Resort and Spa in La Jolla. It is going to be a beauty!
